Ivan Mirković
Ivan Mirković hailed from the prominent Croatian noble Mirković family of Pag Island.
He received his first painting lessons from Emanuel Vidović, after which he continued his education at the Art Academy in Prague, where he graduated and was associated with Ivo Režek. In addition to Vidović, Mirković also gained knowledge and experience from distinguished artists Vlaho Bukovac and Ivan Meštrović.
Two of his sculptures are installed in his native Pag: the monuments to Juraj Dalmatinac and Bartol Kašić.
